- Lemon Chicken
If you’re in a rush, just bring 8 cups of water to a boil, and add the contents of this tube!
Stir frequently for 15 minutes until orzo is soft. If using chicken add it in and allow to cook. Take out chicken and shred by pulling with 2 forks, one will hold the breast and the other will pull it apart. Add chicken back to pot. Add the juice of one freshly squeezed lemon into the pot! ENJOY!
You can choose to add an egg or two ~as well or garnish with parmesan cheese.
If using an egg in place of chicken, take out one cup of boiling soup from the pot and drop 1-2 eggs into the cup gently whisk or stir eggs in the cup It should resemble thinly scrambled eggs Put eggs back into soup!
Add the juice of one freshly squeezed lemon.
Add salt & pepper to taste.
