Big Al's Jambalaya
Our all-star, easy-to-follow Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya is spiced with creole flavors #2die4!
Over medium-high heat cook your favorite spiced sausage (diced, sliced or cubed), stirring constantly, 5-8 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove sausage with a slotted spoon; set aside.
Remember: Add Soup Base to Taste!
Bring 8 cups of water to a boil; empty this bag into it; reduce heat, simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until rice becomes tender and liquid has been absorbed. Add in reserved sausage. At this point, gently stir in a desired portion of diced tomatoes of a (28oz can).
The fragrance has intensified, discard floating bay leaves, stir in 1-3 cups shrimps, mussels, fish ~ cook covered for further 5 minutes until seafood is cooked through and mussels have opened. (Discard any not open).
Serve with chopped green onion and fresh corn bread. Salt and ground pepper to taste.

BIG AL’S JAMBALAYA in the INSTANT POT
Prep time: 10 minutes Instant Pot time: 16 minutes
1) Pour the tube of soup into the inner pot. Add optional items of choice (canned tomatoes
sausage, seafood). Stir together.
2) Add 8 cups boiling water (or to the max 2/3 line, add the rest of the water at the end). Stir.
3) Press “Sauté” stirring soup until it starts to bubble.
4) Press “Cancel”, put the lid on, steam vent closed.
5) Press “Soup”, select 16 minutes.
Use natural release or quick release.
Garnish with green onion tops.
